How to delete your account

These steps apply to Pirate RSS (com.yoyo.rss), published on Google Play by yo yo. Account deletion is done inside the app:

1. Open Pirate RSS and go to the Account screen (signed in with Google).
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. The app deletes your cloud data first, then your sign-in account, then clears the data stored on your phone.

If the deletion fails (for example, no connection), the app tells you and keeps your local data. Sign in again and retry.

What is deleted

• Everything stored under your account in the app's cloud backup (Firebase Realtime Database): your profile (name, email, last login), your backed-up settings, your list of subscribed feeds, and your saved articles.
• Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication).
• All app data on your phone.

What is kept

• Feeds that were added to the app's shared public feed catalog (feed address, title, category). These entries are not linked to your account.
• Crash reports and ad-related data that Google processes under its own retention rules (Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob). The app cannot delete these on your behalf.
